How
do I get invited?
The Bigtime Football Showcase is by invitation only and it it is for Division
1-A - 1- AA recruits. The criteria is based upon a few factors such as
your football film, performance at prior Chuck Mound Event (HS Pro Day,
Football Challenge), college coach reccomendation, high school coach reccomendation.
This
event is by Invitation Only. To be considered for an ivitation you can
contact Chris Melvin (732-822-8163)
What
about the college coaches attending?
With the new NCAA rule, the college coaches cannot attend this year. However,
we will provide the colleges with a list of invited players. They will
have the opportunity to select players for a detailed showcase report.
We have over 300 + college coaches in the Chuck Mound Football Network.
Event
Alumni
We have had all of the big name players at our events. No need to boast
with names, just ask a college coach or a division 1 player about the
quality of our events: Key words: Chuck Mound, Elite College Combine,
Chris Melvin, Eliiterecuits.
Joe
Nolan of Good Morning America, ABC TV and WPLJ 95.5 will be the
special broacaster of the Bigtime Footballl Showcase 2008.

Positional
Wars
The showcase will pit the best against the best at each position, with
each position getting the opportunity to showcase their stuff on the
big stage. All eyes will be on you!
Celebrity
Coaches
The players will not be the only one's who will be competing. Current
and former NFL players will help coach different positions with the
goal being that their position wins the Positional War. Former New York
Jet and Fox Sports Announcer Ray Lucas will be with
the quarterbacks. Former All American and Pittsburgh Steeler Marco
Battaglia will coach the Wide Receivers and Tight Ends. One
of the NFLs best all time punters Jeff Feagles of the
New York Giants will handle the punter and kickers. Possible
players such as Philadelphia Eagles Tight End LJ Smith, New York Giants
Super Bowl Captain Sean O'Hara, Indianapolis Colts Linebacker Gary Brackett,
St Louis Rams running back Brian Leonard and All American Ray Rice are
all checking their availablity to attend. (Player attendace is not
guranteed and is based upon thier teams work schedules)

Media
Prime Time event derserves prime time covereage. Expected media includes:
National Recruiting expert Tom Lemming will be looking
for potential players in the Army All American game. USA Today, New York
Times, Boston Globe and many more in the print media will be in attendance
writing about your local favorites and how they match up against the best.

CBS
Sports - CBS Sports will cover the event that will reach over
50 million homes on their College Sports Segement. LIVE feeds and player
interviews will happen from the CBS studios in New York City.

Bigtime
Recruiting Edition- The
Bigtime Recruiting edition 2008 will feature the Top 50 players and
will be distributed to over 500 college coaches across the nation.
