COMPETITION The Challenge provides
a venue for off-season competition for teams (5 or more
from one school) to compete for the title of Football Challeneg Team Champion.
Use the challenge as an assessment of your off season. Did you get faster
this winter? How do you compare against other player in the state? How
do you rate on the Mound Index? Which teams have the best athletes going
into the new season? Create a team competition, your freshman vs sophomores
- juniors vs seniors.

Recruiting
Analysis Chris Melvin of Eliterecruits.com has been working over the
past year looking at film and attending other Chuck Mound events to
bring the best possible players from across the country.

History:
Chuck Mound is one of the pioneers of providng Football combines at
the high school level. The Football Challenge began in 1996 as an invitational
football combine for the top high school junior recruits. As the event
grew, the competition was expanded to include more players form each
high school to provide more players with the opportunity to compete
and to learn more about the college football experience and to compete
against other schools.
